ADULT BIBLE STUDY:
Fr. David is currently seeking someone to head this group. If you could give an hour each week please consider this opportunity as a way to grow in your faith as well as lead others to Christ. Please call Father David at 330-745-0011 ext 12.
Couples trained by the Diocese of Cleveland Family & Marriage Office prepare engaged couples for the sacrament of Matrimony. Couples must have the ability to share aspects of their married life with engaged couples.
EARLY CHILDHOOD RELIGIOUS EDUCATION:
Introduces preschoolers and kindergartners to the love of God the Father and Jesus, as well as serves as an introduction into the Catholic faith. Meets in the Preschool at 10:30 am on Sundays, September-April. Please contact Jaclyn Snyder for further information or to volunteer. email@example.com
Held on the third Tuesday of January, April, July, and October either at St. Augustine or Immaculate Conception, these classes prepare parents for the baptism of their child(ren). Attendance at one class is required before a baptism may be scheduled. Please contact Deacon Robin Adair for further information. firstname.lastname@example.org
An important part of wedding preparation, this program helps couples entering marriage for the first time to better understand each other and the importance and dignity of married life. If one partner has been married previously, Cana II is the more appropriate preparation program. The parish encourages couples to attend Pre-Cana at Loyola Retreat House in Clinton.
PRESCHOOL/CHILD CARE PROGRAM & LATCHKEY:
This St. Augustine program provides a safe, quality, loving, socially enriching educational experience for children 18 months through 12 years. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6:30 am-6:00 pm. A half day program and an after-school “latchkey” program are available. Please contact Kathy Bogdan our Preschool Director at 330-745-5735 for more information or to enroll your student.
The parish religious education for public school students educates children in the Catholic faith. Open to students in grades 1-8. Volunteers are needed to serve as hall monitors, student aides and catechists
ST. AUGUSTINE SCHOOL:
St. Augustine School offers a premium Catholic education, safe and respectful environment, and an affordable lifetime investment in your children. Volunteers are always welcome and invited to share their gifts in a variety of ways.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL:
A faith-filled week to help children of all ages learn more about Jesus Christ in a fun environment that includes Bible stories, music, crafts, snacks, and faith-filled games.
VIRTUS, PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN:
All volunteers who are working with children in any area of activity associated with the Catholic Church must go through Virtus training.
