Two Things

  • Our parish Advent workshop is scheduled for Sunday, December 7th, from 2-5pm, in the school cafeteria. All are invited, especially families with children. The first 23 families will receive a free Advent wreath and Jesse Tree. It will be a fun time of faith for the whole family.
  • The Youth Ministry will be hosting a trip to the Franciscan University of Steubenville Ohio this Saturday, December 6th, for a dynamic youth rally festival. We will meet in the early afternoon at the Church to carpool there and return later that evening. All youth are invited, and if possible bring a friend. You can contact Ms. Brianna Maloney or call the Rectory for more information ASAP.

Keep an Eye on Your Inbox

It’s about to get very busy around St. Augustine Parish.

But, getting ready for Christmas is a big deal!

Make sure that you keep an eye on your inbox this week, as we will be emailing out a newsletter with some information about the fun and exciting things we have planned for Parishioners of all ages.  It will also include Mass Times and Reconciliation times for the Christmas season.

Out first event is coming this Saturday, November 29, 2014, in conjunction with the Downtown Barberton Christmas Walk.  Festivities once again will include performances by the Western Star Community Flute Choir and the St. Augustine Children’s Choir. The program begins at 6:30pm in the Church. Chili, hot chocolate and cookies will be served on the rectory lawn throughout the evening. If you are able to help out with cookies, they can be dropped off at the rectory on Saturday from 10:00am on. Donations are greatly needed and appreciated. Please help us make this year’s walk a wonderful beginning to the Christmas Season!
